Hi CRCers,
Our Charlotte Running Club has a big weekend planned as we host
our 3rd Annual Winter Classic 8k at 2pm on Sunday from the McAlpine
Greenway just off Monroe Road, in Charlotte.
In addition to a great course, there will be tons of awards,
raffle items, vendors, food, water, and hot chocolate. Plus, Olympic Runner
Todd Williams will be speaking about his new runner safety venture RUNSAFER.
We hope you will come out and join us. If you want to race, you
can still register on race day (tomorrow i.e. Sunday). CRC members get a $10
discount off the registration fee.
On race day, we will distribute our CRC member shirts (Show off
your CRC Pride!), CRC member cards (Take advantage of store discounts and save
money!), and our 2013 Mile Program awards. Our mileage program awards are in
recognition to our members for working so hard during '13.
And don't forget! Right before the awards, we will take a group
photo with everyone wearing their new CRC shirts.
