I would like to start off by thanking everyone that came out
to our Charlotte Running Club Annual Picnic on June 28th 2015. The
temperature and humidity were nearly perfect for a relaxing summer Sunday
afternoon of fun with family and friends.
Big “kudos” to Flavia, our club’s social director, for the
tireless hours that she spent making this event happen.
Extra credit also has
to be given to our two backyard chefs: John and Rob for manning our grills. The
hot dogs, hamburgers, and hamburgers with cheese that they cooked were awesome.
In the busy world that we live in today, let’s not forget
that our club is a about the greatness of friends and family. Our picnic is about
getting to know each other better and getting to know the husbands, wives, and
children that support us in our efforts. It is about realizing that there is
more to life than working out. It is about the strong bonds that we build and
help shape who we really are in this world.
