Want to help out a race for a good cause? The local Girls on the Run Organization is putting on a 5k at 9am on May 12 in Huntersville. They will have around 1,100 girls running in the race! Each girl runs with a parent or friend, so the number of entrants will at least double. Girls on the Run has asked CRC to provide volunteers to help work the course. We will definitely have a group working one of the water stops, and possibly other locations if the need arises. So, come out, hang out with your friends, meet some new CRC members, and support a race for a great cause!
