Last Saturday at the Running Club Social, Ms. Harriette Thompson was presented with the Brown Cup, for her many achievements in overcoming adversity in her running and non-running lives. Ms. Thompson, a cancer survivor, has completed the San Diego Rock & Roll marathon 12 times since 1999, raising over $75,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
