twelve in twelve!

One family decides to make a difference ... JD Lewis and his sons will travel to 12 countries in 12 months doing humanitarian work, making a documentary of their travels with the intention of inspiring others to make similar trips. The itinerary is: Russia, India, China, Cambodia, Senegal, Rwanda, Tanzania, Australia, South Georgia Island, Paraguay, Peru and Haiti. After that, they will live in Mississippi for a month to document poverty in this country.

JD says: the goal is to set up “The Twelve in Twelve Network”. We will establish a resource to help guide and assist people who are interested in doing global relief work. Our organization will serve as a “One-Stop” resource, for everything to do with humanitarian relief work. Please join us as the Lewis boys trav
el all seven continents, from country to country. We will be posting video and written blogs along the way with what we have learned, discovered, experienced, and how we are attempting to make a difference.

Check out the benefit 12k trail race at the Whitewater Center, with an awesome prize for the fastest runner (an all-inclusive trip for 2 to the Caribbean Sandals of their choice); a 1.2 mile "bunny hop" for the kids, and an Easter Egg hunt! It's Saturday April 23rd - a fun-filled day for all the family, with music by great local and regional artists too.
